Insurance Terms
|
Public Liability Insurance
We maintain liability insurance coverage on all rental vehicles to a maximum of $5.000.000 for all vehicles for any bodily injury and property damage liability claim brought by a third party (other than a passenger) against the customer (and any other driver listed in the rental contract) as a result of the operation or use of their rental vehicles. This basic public liability coverage is included in all rental rates. All coverage and waivers are subject to the express terms of the rental contract. A deposit of $5000.00 is required.
Customer Responsibility
With PLI In the event of loss or damage to vehicle while on rent, whether or not due to the fault of customer, customer's responsibility for direct and accidental loss (including theft and vandalism) or damage to the vehicle is unlimited. That is, customer is responsible for all loss or damage.
Optional CDW & VIP Insurance Protection
CDW Insurance $18.00 per Day
With CDW, the customer's responsibility for accidental damage, theft and vandalism (police report is required) to the vehicle is reduced to $1000.00 per occurrence. A security deposit of $1000.00 is required.
VIP Insurance $29.00 per Day
Includes the above CDW Insurance, BCAA Roadside Assistance and Trip Interruption protection. The insurance reduces the liability to $100.00 per occurrence. A security deposit of $100.00 is required. Trip interruption protection covers expenses up to $50.00 per person/day for lodging, $50.00 per group for transportation in case of mechanical breakdowns. Failure of Radio, Air Condition, Generator, Cruise Control, Appliances are not considered mechanical breakdowns.

Mileage Charges
|
Additional Mileage will be charged as follows: $0.32 per Km for all Class C Motor Homes, $0.35 per Km for all Class A Motor Homes.

Northern Charges
|
If you plan to drive to Alaska or the Yukon Territory a one time fee of $350.00 applies.

One Way Rental

Preparation Fee
|
Mandatory $80.00 per Rental (One time charge)
The fee includes transfers from / to rental center, propane gas supply, chemicals, cleaning items.

Pets
|

Rental Equipment
|
Most rental center are providing the following items at additional cost:
Mountain Bikes, Bike Carrier, Child Seats, Booster Seats, Toaster, Lawn Chairs, inflatable Canoes or Kayaks, Snow Chains etc.
Advance reservation is highly recommended.

All published rates are available with advance reservation only.
Local rates may be higher.

Security Deposit

With VIP Premium Insurance $100.00 - With CDW Insurance $1000.00
With Standard Insurance $5000.00 Accepted form of payment: Credit Cards, Traveler Check, Cash. Credit card deposits may be processed at the time of pick up. Please Note: the primary renter will need to present a credit card.

All units are non-smoking. If you smoke in the unit – a cleaning fee may apply.

Transfers - General
|
Transfer are complimentary from the Airport / Airport Hotel locations or from downtown hotels.
|

Transfers – Pick up
|
|
|

Drop off between 09:00 – 11:00
A return transfer either to the hotel or the airport will be provided
|
|
Travel Restriction
|
Mexico, Death Valley, New York City, Non-Public Roads, Gravel Roads.
Travel to Alaska, the Yukon and the Northwest Territories is restricted but may be requested in advance for an additional fee of $350.00 plus an additional security deposit of $200.00. Unauthorized travel into the above areas may void the insurance protection.

Upgrades Downgrades
|
We will make every effort to provide the type of vehicle requested. We do, however, reserve the right to substitute a vehicle of equivalent or lower value or offer a higher rated vehicle at no additional cost. Should a lower rated vehicle be substituted, our responsibility is limited to refunding the difference in the daily rental rates.
